Yeah, god forbid they show the last 5 seconds of a close game instead of a 20-0 lead in the first 6 minutes. How dumb. wouldn't have bothered me if it weren't already on another espn channel.

get this damn mizzou/msu game off my tv...i stay up all friggin' day (been up since 4am) to watch the illini and now i have to watch the end of a game i care nothing about....espn is so lame sometimes.

Dick Vitale was giving Love the Bill Walton to Kobe verbal [expletive] all night. He's a great player, we get it. I take it you haven't seen Walton give Love the same treatment. :) But Vitale is annoying, he'll be like that with the next diaper dandy he sees too. He was like that last week with Rose. did you know he only has one eye, with the other being glass? it's true, he told me so.

Why? Because Weis acted like a classless child preseason with his recruiting sour grapes and allegations and now Illinois fan is reveling in ND's utter crapness? That's just karma, son. I'm pretty sure you're kidding, but stealing Arrelious Benn from us has very little to do with it, they just talk waaaay too much. For instance, this ludicrous Illinois/Florida debate. I understand their point that Florida strictly on paper isn't that much better than Illinois but they would destroy the Illini in a game, and everyone seems to think Juice, who has now had one good passing game this season, would shred the UF defense. i'm sure you're not just lumping all of us illini fans into a group with one or two dudes on a msg board, whom most of us don't agree with.

I just saw a graphic that said UI/ASU was on ESPN2 while watching this Arkansas/VCU game. i was going to say that espn always showed the maui invitational and was going to be pissed if they didn't this year when illinois is actually playing in it.

It's on ESPN at noon, at least in my area. I don't think they do regional coverage at noon (so it should be on everywhere), but I'm not completely sure of that. sweet...it's on here too...so it seems you're right about the regional coverage.

And it's probably because of quotes like these that the Raiders lose. Lane Kiffin on if he's going to kick it to Hester or not: Why don't you try a double reverse pass on every play Lane. That sounds fun too :D well, at least it'll be fun watching hester return kicks on sunday.

I couldn't disagree more. Do you really want to see the home ump eliminated in baseball? Maybe it's the conventionalist in me, but I'd absolutely hate to see the day when balls and strikes are called by some robot. The game is becoming less pure every year; adding "electronic verification", as you call it, would just make it worse. i, personally, would LOVE to see the HP umpire replaced by a machine.
