  1. Missouri is too. Our offensive coordinator sucks. So does our offensive coordinator! And our head coach. And most of the rest of the offense. What a difference a year makes on offense...
  2. Hey stitchface and Jazz: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v177/Navinda/cal_sucks.gif Just kidding, we're going to lose so bad today. :(
  3. It's called the Karl Dorrell signing, UCLA has done it a couple times to perfect it. I expect with the moral victories against ND and Oregon this year, Karl should be in line for another extension. How can the same guy that hired Ben Howland for basketball and John Savage for baseball continue to be so incompetent when it comes to football!?
  4. No, I don't know that any of us know how to go about doing that.
  5. they're also out their first round pick, since they forfeited their legitimate one so they could get this guy without spending any extra money. I think he really liked Colvin best on the board at the time. I agree, and it looks like most in baseball like the pick too.
  6. Caribes lose 3-0, box: CF C. Walker 1/2, 2B (4), 2 BB (11) Tigres win 6-4, box: SS R. Cedeño 1/4, 2B (1), HBP CF B. Coats 0/1 Leones lose 4-3, box C H. Blanco 0/3, BB (2), 2 K (4) Overall: Chris Walker (Caribes): 21/72, .292/.403/.389/.792, 3 HBP, 11 BB, 13 K, 15/17 SB Ronny Cedeño (Tigres): 2/8, .250/.333/.375/.708, 1 HBP, 2 K Buck Coats (Tigres): 12/54, .222/.300/.389/.689, 1 HBP, 5 BB, 9 K, 3 HR Henry Blanco (Leones): 11/41, .268/.318/.341/.659, 1 HBP, 2 BB, 4 K
  7. Culiacan lost 9-4, box: 3B C. McGehee 0/2, 2 R, 2 BB (10), E (5, throw) Overall: 21/70, .300/.388/.471/.859, 2 HR, 6 2B, 10 BB, 7 K, 5 E
  8. Psh...if I was making it up, Felix would have more HRs and BBs. Licey won 3-2, box: CF F. Pie 0/3, K (9) Overall: 13/48, .271/.300/.333/.633, 1 HBP, 1 BB, 9 K, 2/2 SB Estrellas lost 4-2 but Licey.com doesn't have the other box scores so I don't know if Jose Reyes played.
  9. OK. I found it in Raisin's post. Now my question, How come the Red Sox, Yankees, and Twins have such good drafts and have good records. Maybe the question is dumb, but what are the Red Sox, Yankees, and Twins know that the Cubs don't? As UK touched on, the grading of a draft 4 months later is going to be mostly based on how those same players were graded 4 months ago. In the case of the Red Sox and Yankees, highly rated players with signability concerns fell to them in later rounds and were signed above slot money (Red Sox: Daniel Bard, Lars Anderson, Ty Weeden and Ryan Kalish; Yankees: Ian Kennedy, Joba Chamberlain, Dellin Betances, Mark Melancon and Colin Curtis). The Cubs do this too (see: Samardzija, Huseby, Rundle) but not to the extent of the Red Sox and Yankees. The real judge of the draft will be a few years down the road.
  10. You really think Augustine has more O than Ben?
  11. Hinrich is just fine for this team, it's the lack of inside scoring that's really hurting them.
  12. Why in God's name was Ben Gordon NOT in when you need a game-winning shot?
  13. What the hell, Duhon. You do have 2 timeouts.
  14. Man, Hinrich gets absolutely mugged - no call. But the Kings are getting 3-point plays on chippy calls.
  15. Well, Gordon is in foul trouble too.
  16. Wow, it has all fallen apart. Started when Hinrich went to the bench.
  17. Man, I forgot how bad/inconsistent NBA refs really are.
  18. Really, what has Tyrus shown that a handful of guys in the d-league can't do? He had a nice block on Shq and that is about it. With all his years of experience playing basketball... Well he has played three years now at least. I mean he is an impressive athlete, no doubt. That said I think you would find a lot of those on the AND 1 tour. I really hope I am wrong, but Pax should have just picked Roy. Yeah, it sounds like you are jumping to conclusions way too early. Nobody said TT was going to be a great shooter. He is what he is, and he's going to have to develop a shot. Not going to happen in a couple games----and nobody is expecting it to. I guess, I just think he is basically another guy at a position we have well covered with Deng, and Noc. We could have used a big 2 who could score, which Roy is. And that could be Thabo too. I like Roy a lot too, but there's nothing wrong with Tyrus - he brings a lot of elements that the team sorely lacks. That was an ugly first half, at least the Bulls lead it by 6.
  19. He has struggled quite a bit in the big leagues and has holes in his offensive game.
  20. Really, what has Tyrus shown that a handful of guys in the d-league can't do? He had a nice block on Shq and that is about it. With all his years of experience playing basketball...
  21. Thabo and Tyrus are gonna be great.
  22. Bulls lead the Kings 19-14 early in the second quarter.
