  1. Scheduled Games (Central Time): Iowa vs. St. Paul, 6:08 pm Knoxville vs. Columbus, 6:00 pm South Bend at Lansing, 5:30 pm Myrtle Beach at Lynchburg, 5:30 pm ACL Cubs at ACL Guardians, 1:00 pm Probable Starting Pitchers: Iowa: TBD Knoxville: RHP Will Sanders (33.1 IP, 2.70 ERA, 2.62 FIP, 32 K, 8 BB) South Bend: RHP Ryan Gallagher (18.2 IP, 3.38 ERA, 3.38 FIP, 19 K, 7 BB) Myrtle Beach: RHP Alfredo Romero (17.2 IP, 6.11 ERA, 4.74 FIP, 19 K, 15 BB)
  2. Yeah, that's a good one. It's that or the 2014 Cubs for best one unless I'm missing something. Cubs 2014: Schwarber underslot to get Cease and Steele. I wonder if you would count the 2019 Orioles. They went underslot by $400k on Adley Ruschtman and used the savings on Gunnar Henderson but it was only $400k. 2023 Tigers looking good: Went under slot by $500-$600k on Max Clark and used that savings Kevin McGonigle. Both are top 10 or, at worst, top 20 prospects. But both the 2019 Orioles and 2023 Tigers benefited more from really high bonus pools in an era where 1.1 rarely if ever signs for full slot (only Torkelson has signed for full slot in the 2020s). Neither Torkelson nor Clark were drafted higher than anticipated. 2022 Cubs with Horton and Ferris seems solid right no. The Pirates really screwed up 2021 - took Henry Davis at 1.1 with approximately the same bonus as Marcelo Mayer and Jordan Lawler but did nail the Bubba Chandler pick with the Davis savings.
  3. Mulé left the game with an apparent back injury.
  4. 6. Alexey Lumpuy is a triple away from the cycle.
  7. Wiggins: 3 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 4 K, 56 pitches (35 strikes, 9 whiffs)
  8. After that, Wiggins gave up a double and an RBI single before getting the third out with a strikeout.
  9. 1-2-3 first inning for Wiggins. Topped out at 99.
  10. I-Cubs with a furious 9th inning comeback from down 5-1 to force extras. Then Chase Strumpf hit a 2-run HR to tie it in the bottom of the 10th and Matt Shaw walked it off with his 2nd HR of the game. 102.5 mph EV for Shaw.
  11. Wiggins it is tonight for Knoxville.
  12. Matt Shaw hit a HR to start off game 2 of the doubleheader. 368 ft, 95.6 mph.
