Stupid USC. :x UCLA goes into Tempe and beats ASU 24-12. :) The Bruins defense is so awesome - and only one senior. Now the Bruins are bowl eligible - USC up next in Pasadena in a few weeks. The Bruins dedicated the game to Marcus Cassell, a starting cornerback for the Bruins last year in his senior year, who passed away in a single-car accident in Santa Monica yesterday.
Can you help me verify if this picutre of jackson is of him in a USC shirt? http://media.scout.com/Media/Image/14/144851m.JPG Yeah, it is a USC t-shirt. He was a no-doubt Trojan till USC effed up the pooch.
I agree. Smith's pretty small, not all that tall, and not fast enough IMO to be a Vick/Young style QB in the NFL. It'll be interesting to see if he becomes a WR or something else. Right, like Michael Robinson on San Fran. He's mostly a 3rd down running back guy who can catch screens, etc. Smith is a much better pocket passer than Robinson. Not a good comparison, imo.
Jarrett was the Biletnikoff finalist, so I'd go with him. well right now im not sure if Hughes is covering him or not. And smith has a few more receptions and alot more yards than Jarrett. I'd try to double Jarrett and single Smith with Hughes...which is what Cal should be doing.
You know USC is going to get it. Pac-10 refs/review folks have to give it to USC no matter what (remembers the Reggie Bush fumble non-call against UCLA in 2004).
