  1. Extra day of rest after throwing nearly 120 pitches last time out.
  2. Dakota Mekkes getting added to the 40-man? If true, TT is really going to go places emotionally in this thread.

  4. WHERE IS THE LIKE BUTTON I don't know, other people liked it. Clearly, you need NSBB Premium.
  5. Totes. Let me put the kids to bed and I'm on it. It should only take 3 hours or so. Cool cool cool. I think I'm good with the one kid.
  6. I haven't seen any other velocity readings from the Em's games that make me scratch my head. I'm thinking Marquez may actually be that guy, which is exciting. That's terrific velocity from a LHP. Agreed. That's a very exciting development.
  7. Erling Moreno was added to South Bend's roster before the game and got the start today. 4 IP, 7 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 5 K Casey Bloomquist gets the start in game two for Myrtle Beach.
  8. You've got to take Weber's slot out of that, at 317,600. They've got a bit over 300k in money above the slots to pay Roederer, Weber, or 11-40. I made a typo. It's actually $691,255 remaining in overslot funds if they are going to spend the 5% over. That $691,255 includes the 5% over balances for the top 10 rounders who have signed plus $38,755 5% overage for Roederer and $15,880 overage for Weber. I didn't include slot for Roederer or Weber.
  9. They have $691,255 over slot funds remaining for Roederer, Weber and anyone over $125k past round 10.
  10. Rizzo definitely could have helped Almora out rather than just stand and stare.
  11. $540k slot goes between the 103rd and 104th picks, a 3rd rounder.
  12. 7 walks and 3 strikeouts in 30 PA is a nice start for Jonathan Sierra. He has a 29% strikeout rate last year in the AZL.
  13. Didier Vargas is up to 7 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 4 BB, 11 K. Can't wait till they update the box score tomorrow and we find out it took 3 pitchers to get through those 7 innings.

  15. Oh man, calling a certain segment of Cubs fans spoiled after 2016 is the best assessment ever.
  16. This thread apparently doesn’t show umpires proper respect.
  17. Eugene now has him going tomorrow so he's not hurt. It was Williams-Marquez last time too.
