    The original Cardinals beat writer who tweeted out the $6.3 bonus amount probably made a transposition error. Davis’ slot is ~$3.6 million and considering their other announced signing, they’d go well over 105% of their pool if they signed Davis at $6.3 million.

    There was a rumor that one top 10 team had completely taken Lee off their board due to his medicals. Wonder if it was the Cubs. We know the org (even if it wasn't Kantrovitz then, some of the same scouts and crosscheckers were there in 2022) loved him in 2019 and were desperately trying to get a deal with him in the 2nd round with the savings from the Ryan Jensen first round pick.
