    Benge seems interesting. Athletic, good hit tool, more walks than strikeouts. If the Cubs area scout for that region (Ty Nichols) likes him, the Cubs will have Benge on their short list. Nichols was the area scout for Wicks and Horton so he’s had some recent success and the Cubs clearly listen to him.

    Have to imagine Wiggins’ day is done. Hell of a low-A debut: 3 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 5 K, 40-28 pitches-strikes, 10 swinging strikes

    That would be surprising since prep arms tend to fall every year and there isn't even a consensus on who the top prep pitcher is this year. Noble Meyer was much better regarded last year than any of this year's prep prospects and he fell to 10.
