  1. Good game. Yay Bulls. 8 boards for Curry is the best news, imo.
  2. I'd like to start game threads.
  3. His bat was used quite a bit last year, and with Dusty around, it will be used a lot next season. Would Neifi's bat have been used so often though if he wasn't performing? I don't know - and I had no problem with his usage last year since he was performing so well. But I am pretty sure he will return to his ugly career norms, so I hope Nomar is healthy next year.

  5. Curry has said some really nice things to the media lately. I have really warmed to Curry (again). This team is really exciting right now, Detroit will be a big test. The Bulls are three back of Boston for that last spot and four back of reeling Indiana for the 7th spot in the playoffs. If they end the season at .500, I think they're in. Look how many posts this thread has gotten with the win steak! :D
  6. Yay! Four in a row! :D
  7. Keener, we're rubbing it in to JC in this thread (so sue me if the Pacers have key members suspended): Premium Regular ;) I have warmed to keeping Curry. 3.5 games out of the last playoff spot...
  8. Thanks for the response on Curry. If it seems like he's being a team player and responding better to Skiles, that's great to hear. I can't say anything about Skiles because I haven't watched enough games or read enough to get a feel for him. He seems to be doing well thought, and I like his physical, defensive style. We're 3 games out of a tie for the last playoff spot.
  9. Well, if they're still as excited about him to dedicate half of a brief article on Cubs.com to Raul after two additional years were added on to his already mature age, they must like what they've seen. Well his Summer numbers sure are quite impressive. http://www.baseballamerica.com/cgi-bin/statsfindplayer.pl?player=valdez%2C+raul Impressive and crazy good, yeah. Do you know if he went down there specifically to pitch out of the pen? I read one game report that referred to him as the emergency starter. He had problems getting a visa and into the U.S. so he was stuck in the DSL instead (old thread on Valdez).
  10. I'm not getting my hopes up yet, but it sure does look like the team is playing well together recently.
  11. I don't know where they stand in the Bulls' future plans, but I think things have really soured on the Curry front. Rais, if Curry keeps putting up 20 and 6 like he has been for the past few weeks everything will be fine. Also, if the Bulls are winning, you watch how quickly the trade rumors stop. I've had the chance to watch the last 2 games, and I have really liked what I have seen out of Curry. He is still somewhat lazy on the defensive end, and probably should be getting more rebound. On the other hand, the kid is still really young, and I am almost to the point of being scared to trade him. Right now every team is trying to fleece the Bulls, and I dont trade him unless an offer comes for somebody that is a gurantee. Chandler, well the kid has absolutely no offensive game. He makes Rodman look like an offensive genius. However, when he comes in he finds the ball. Either blocking shots, rebounds, or loose ball. If Curry can keep up the offensive production, along with Kirk, and Gordan(who has been on a roll of late) then I can live with Chandler being a defensive stud. I agree that Curry has been impressive. I just don't know if he'll be in the Bulls plans for much longer since he demanded a trade. Isn't he a free agent after this season? I don't think he wants to come back. I have always had a feeling that we'd finally develop Curry (and Chandler) and they'd leave. :( It'd be nice to have Curry back next year and draft a PF (if we don't have to surrender our first round pick to Phoenix) - someone like Chris Taft or Hakim Warrick (if he bulks up a bit).

  13. We need a few big guys in that foundation. :|
  14. Three wins in the last four games! \:D/
  15. Wow, I'm glad Eddy has his head in the game. Kobe Bryant said on PTI today that he was seriously considering a sign-and-trade with the Bulls this past offseason (if it was viable). Screw Kobe Bryant. I want him nowhere near the city of Chicago, except for when he comes to town to take a beating. By the way Bulls up by 9 with 6 mins left against the Griz. First game I have got to watch all year.(just got direct TV) They dont look too bad. Agreed. I'm enjoying every single moment of the LA media turning on Kobe this past week (and off and on since last season's NBA Finals). :) Bulls won 96-88! I didn't see any of the game or follow it on Gamecast, but CT told me that Curry looked good. :)

  17. Dr. Jekyll showed up today. The Bulls beat the Timberwolves 99-88 as Ben Gordon scored 31 and Kirk Hinrich had 19 points and 11 assists. :)
  18. 113-85 the final. Bulls improve to 3-13. They might only have three wins, but those wins came against the Jazz, the Lakers and the Cavaliers. http://espn-i.starwave.com/media/apphoto/ILBK10212090254.jpeg
  19. The 2-13 Bulls are blowing out LeBron and the Cavs, 101-69 late in the 4th quarter. :) For those of you outside Chicago, their Friday game against the 76ers will be on ESPN.
  20. Lakers - 84 Bulls - 92 :D Triple doubles from Chandler and Curry. Great games from Deng, Gordon (off the bench) and Hinrich. Watching the game with oodles of Lakers fans was fun. \:D/
  21. How has Nene done? I have followed little NBA since MJ retired, besides the Bulls and some playoff action, so I really don't know. I got my first chance to see the Bulls this year when they lost to the Lakers on Sunday. They look like a really scrappy bunch. I love Hinrich and Deng. has some defensive and rebounding potential but no real offensive promise. i'd say his ceiling would be pj brown. Thanks, Sulley. I'd say the Bulls could use a player like him, but they also need another scoring threat, imo. I honestly don't know what we can get for Curry, but since he's a FA, I'd have no problem going for Nene if it's the best we can get for Curry.

  23. Yah, I wanted Igoudala bad. :x
  24. I haven't, he's just a small #4 or a big and slower #3 who hasn't developed enough offensively to become a major factor. Much of that is because of injuries, but I would like to see him progress. Fair enough. Living on the West Coast, I only get to see the Bulls when they play the Clippers or Lakers and otherwise just get to see the box scores, so I really don't have a good idea. What makes most of you more excited about Curry, who really hasn't come anywhere near living up to his potential either?
  25. Yeah, I really wanted Igoudala last year too. I am guessing everyone has given up on Chandler?
