In regards to the trade, ugh. There's still a possibility that trade could end up being a bust for bust trade. Minor league performances are awesome and everything, but, you gotta go with ML performance to evaluate trades. I disagree. Even if Bay turns out to be a bust, the Cubs didn't optimize his trade value - they surely could have gotten more for him than Bartosh (and if not, they should have kept Bear). OMFG just send Cedeno down instead of rotting him on the bench. Who would you rather have as a back-up SS? Enrique Wilson?? Cedeno starting SS, Perez back-up until Garciaparra comes back. Dusty has already made it known that Neifi is his starting SS, so it's repeditively annoying everytime Cedeno is not in the line-up,someone has to complain about it. It is what it is, so get use to it. BTW, I would also rather see Cedeno in there everyday, but you don't here me b&c about it everyday. Add Nate Frese to the 40-man and make him the backup to Neifi. Return Ronny to AAA and let him play everyday.

Just checking in to say Z needs to stop doing the barehand thing but the play where he knocked the ball down, barehanded it and threw through his legs to Lee who ended up doing the splits was awesome. Shows that Zambrano is quite an athlete.

His pitches aren't as good as others prospects and his ceiling is lower than the pitchers I had ahead of him and he's repeating AA. The reason I have him higher than other posters is because I feel he deserves it after he's improved his changeup this season. CPatt, the reason I have Marmol higher than Nolasco is because he has a higher ceiling and better stuff. It's not his fault he's being rushed. Mhuber, it's Harvey (who's hitting kind of well lately) who has tied the MWL-lead in HRs at 15.
