  1. High praise since Herbert and Foreman are solid backs. Bye Ebner.
  2. Eh I personally think the bottom is still pretty barren and needs comp. But I readily admit if you load up on 6ths and 7ths you won't hold onto them all. Last year they redshirt IRed one and lost another off the PS.
  3. Another Senior Bowl guy, though he was on the other roster. Bears really leaned into that scouting opportunity I guess.
  4. Could see him using 3 of the 4 and doing the multi trade back like last year to load up on late swings.
  5. Or he just isn't that good and they find better players.
  6. Sr Bowl RBs and WRs Kenny McIntosh, RB, Georgia Chris Rodriguez Jr, RB, Kentucky Eric Gray, RB, Oklahoma Derius Davis, WR, TCU Xavier Hutchinson, WR, Iowa State Jalen Wayne, WR, South Alabama Andrei Iosivas, WR, Princeton Dontayvion Wicks, WR, Virginia Tech
  7. Other available Senior Bowl guys from Getsy's roster DBs Jammie Robinson, S, Florida State Demarco Hellams, S, Alambama Christopher Smith III, S, Georgia Jay Ward, CB, LSU Rejzohn Wright, CB, Oregon State Darrell Luter SR, CB, South Alabama Darius Rush, CB, South Carolina Anthony Johnson, CB, Virginia Chamarri Conner, CB, Virginia Tech
  8. Bears have already drafted 3 guys from Luke Getsy's Senior Bowl roster (Wright, Stevenson, Pickens) If we look there for edge talent, Dylan Horton and Isaish McGuire are two Edges to watch. I'll try and pull together of Fuller position list
  9. I could see any of the first 3 being potentially cut.
  10. Clowney or Yannick. Yannick gives more of a pure speed edge guy that they lack besides DRob. Also a few mid 30s guys if they want a vet presence. Frank Clark has the connection to Poles. Don't know that any rookie is plug and play, but they ought to grab at least one.
  11. Holy horsefeathers was confused for a second and thought Sulley was a clairvoyant
  12. Get a G/C and CB and DL today. Then like 6 more DL Saturday and I'm good (can throw in a TE or S maybe)
  13. Don't think Wright is a reach there. But I was still reeling a bit seeing Carter right there for the taking and Poles passing on that chance. Have to imagine he wasn't very high on their board. So you could say they get a free pick, which cool, but Poles is gonna be judged hard if Carter becomes a stud. And he'll look smart if Carter flames out of NFL.
  14. I certainly always expect Fields to be a high sack rate guy in the vain of a Russell Wilson (or a Joe Burrow?) But yea, a lot of analytic nerds, especially ones who put zero tape effort in and wanna defend ESPN PRWR to the death have gone way over board with the "sacks are a QB stat" thing. Hey he could be a Kirk Cousins and just throw the ball away at a super high rate but those aren't positive plays. They're just less negative.
  15. Diogenes, welcome to the board and the Bears thread. Just been lurking for 2.5 years?
  16. If they stay at 9 it just better be a premium position. If they trade down then TBD based how far down they go and how board shakes out.
  17. Yea Vegas does seem destined to be a short term destination. Like they'll definitely want a better long term market in 15 years. But I can see why As want to stay closer to current market rather than a cross country trek to the Carolinas. Vegas being more appealing than a few other pacific cities though 🤷‍♂️
  18. Tough few years to be an Oakland sports fan.
  19. That actually sounds like a smart way to do it...
  20. Another example of lack of text contrast : https://northsidebaseball.com/forums/topic/50854-article-tyler-duffey-is-pitching-his-way-back-to-the-majors-with-the-iowa-cubs/ Name/byline basically unreadable.
  21. Multi year tanking is dumb, but they definitely need to blow things up and just try something new. If you somehow get lucky and can S&T Vuc for anything, great. Trade Lavine at high value. Probably Trade DeRozan for whatever. Get some combo of picks and young players. I like some of the types of players they've targeted in the past. Long guys who can defend and play a little position less ball. But need a true PG to replace Ball and then emphasis on shooters. And more of a rim defender. Bring back Ayo and White. Piece together some mid level FA adds and you may have a bit of a backdoor 2024 tank, but should be able to be active again in 2024 FA period. It's been a while since I kept up real in depth with the NBA Cap rules. Will they at some point be eligible for an injury exemption on Balls cap hits?
  22. Just do away with drafts. Soccer up all our sports and have relegation and youth training academys.
  23. Just curious if there is an update for mobile ads? Still getting more than just a footer ad (basically between every post) and I've seen one or two that was a popup style.
