    Interesting. I think opening the lottery to about 5 spots and slightly flatter odds would do better job. Right now or with the proposed plan the floor is 4 which is still a pretty safe risk to take for a team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Lol Olin Kruetz who punched his teammates. So Marshall is a bit crazy and we'll have to deal with outbursts at times but he's also been very influential over our young players and their training and development, namely Jeffery. It's all so stupid. All these guys are just still so butt hurt about Lovie even though he's moved on to his own new terrible team. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    The salary thing is not too relevant. The past decade, any new deal for a really good player is tops in the league until a few more guys get extended and you're middle of the pack again. Until the league stops growing that will be the case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Of course they are underperforming. But they've underperformed for what is almost half a season now. It doesn't take long for this spiral to continue and effectively end this season. I agree with that but not sure how that necessarily makes them less equipped or whatever for a rebuild if we're looking at a overhaul situation with the coaching staff.     Not sure about Marshall but Cutler, Slauson, and Jennings all were structured to be not too hard to dump within what, two years of the initial extension? It's only bad to be vet heavy if you've gone too overboard with the salaries. I don't think thats really the case outside of Allen. Anyone else is producing, near the end of their contract, or relatively easy to cut. And in the NFL if you're serious about getting younger it's really just a matter of taking a one year hit on salary cuts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Cutler won't have any effect on rebuilding if that's the requirement. He has a contract that's relatively easy to walk away from after a few years. Realistically a new coach would willingly work with him though, even if we more seriously went to groom his predecessor. Rebuilds should also be quick especially with our pieces in place.     If I had to guess, this cancellation is more about looking like HE IS FOCUSED SOLELY ON THE NEXT GAME than about avoiding questions. Eh a two hour radio show or whatever wouldn't affect his game prep unless it was a short week. The BM theory would be stronger, but either way it doesn't matter. Or maybe Trestman asked him to cancel. Still, doesn't matter. I'm talking about perception not the actual effect. Apparently they're too good for Landon Collins (7), Shawn Oakman (8), Dante Fowler (10) and Shaq Thompson (11). I can buy that. I don't want to waste tons of resources on LB either way but one elite fixture in the middle would be great if one is there. Can't complain about going DE or even DT though. You could also argue for Best OL available and move Long to RT though all things equal I leave him where he is. I'm guessing we won't have cap space for any big FA signings. Anyone know?
