If by 5+ you mean NINE, then yes. By year 6 there will be enough #1 draft picks to compensate Maybe some bogus as LTIR stuff too.

Yea the fact is after all this guys like Cousins and Beasley get a redemption arc of sorts, but to the nutties they'll think it's just more cancel stuff without considering any context of why people are upset. For whatever it's worth I probably mocked Cousins, but his attitude/vieww about it didn't make me hate him. Aaron is deserving of 10x the criticism of Cousins or Kyrie.

turned it on for two minutes. some highlights: "coercion from owners for players to get vaccinated" "my body, my choice" "i'm only the 2nd non-vaccinated person to test positive" "people calling it a pandemic of the non-vaccinated is a total lie." "how come if the vax is so great, why are people still dying from covid?" "we don't know a whole lot about it (the vaccine)" EDIT: he's taking the horse medicine. Oh my God, so many logical fallacies in there.

Driving 150 is just mind boggling to me. In any state of mind. That his BAC was double the legal limit too is just a compounding of terrible selfish behavior with zero regard for safety of yourself or others.

I don't disagree, but I don't know what to do with the info. I was out trick or treating with the kids and watched the game on partial delay. Didn't really care about the loss, was pretty happy with Fields. This game kind of epitomized my theory about the Bears hopes for this year. They were happy to sacrifice defense, and in some cases wins, for offensive improvement. They have overspent on defense for so long that they had to cut back from that side to address some offensive needs and would be okay losing high scoring games where Fields looks good. The overall team is obviously a mess, but we knew that. I guess maybe it just seems like people are inflating Fields performance a tad. He did some spectacular things, but like it shouldn't be a "he's arrived" moment like some seem to be wanting it to be. It was just a really nice positive data point after some rough ones.

Okay I'm just gonna say it: Fields looked great, but I feel like there's still a little to much lift behind the nothing else matters talking point (everywhere) Is Fields the overwhelming most important piece? Yes. Do other things/players matter? Also yes. It's okay to want multiple things guys. I know we're all QB starved, but this isn't normal.

That almost doesn't even seem possible. Especially against a team with one elite rebounder. I guess none of the other guys are liabilities on the board too, but its still a crazy stat. Get elite scorers. Then "just try" at rebounding and defense. Winning formula.

The missed PAT less so. Anyways, the last time we had a Bears QB who could take dead in the water and turn it into something was maybe Cutler. Nice to have just a natural talent. Honestly, Trubisky pulled a few of those jailbreak runs out as well. Fields has been off on a few throws. For a rook, I guess it’s good but I haven’t seen anything too much different than Trubisky. Trubisky had some long runs, but if he ever had one like that I honestly don't remember. He mostly made teams pay in 2018 who didn't respect him as a runner and that was kind of it.

Well PF was a hole with Williams, but I was willing to let him work through it. I don't think they need a huge splash at PF, but maybe one of those TPE can be used for a move.
