How could you not be confident with him, unless it is based on age and inexperience alone. He has pitched lights out with a sub 1 WHIP (before this game). His minor league numbers and the fact that he wasn't striking anybody out until about a month or two before his callup (yes, I've heard all the explanations for it, don't worry). -
Gotta at least love how much respect Soriano's arm gets.

Well, this is just wonderful. FWIW, I'm never insanely confident in Shark, though I've been mostly happy with his results.

who cares? the inning should've been over a few pitches earlier anyways. if anything, we got the shaft that inning, not them (if theriot's throw was, in fact, in time)
