  1. Wow... http://sportsbybrooks.com/rick-reilly-implies-broncos-owner-has-alzheimers-25833 Thank god we capitalized on this :yahoo: :-)) :-)) :-)) But seriously, what a cluster-expletive
  2. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/peter_king/08/30/mmqb/?eref=sihpT1 King continues to rave about the Bears.
  3. the 05 bears managed to make the playoffs because that defense was incredible and the schedule was fairly easy... kyle orton didn't play well (and that's no knock on him, he was a rookie, but there was nothing very good about what he did while playing football)
  4. SI articles are obviously gospel. Especially when the guy has never made it on the field. Why am I even remotely within the realm of defending Caleb Hanie? I don't like Caleb Hanie.
  5. fair enough... obviously, so do i
  6. and if you mean brady and romo... sure.... we know that now
  7. lol luke mccown is good? colt brennan is good? ok
  8. you're missing the point... suck is suck and if cutler is lost, this year is a great failure i'm not going to hope that luke mccown can salvage a 7-9 record for us
  9. i can safely say that hanie is not a diamond. sure... so could the 30 or so teams that passed on guys like brady and romo numerous times the great likelihood is that your backup qb sucks.
  10. OK, you guys can keep arguing about crappy QB's all you want, then. *shrug*
  11. I mean, think about it. Perfect example right there. You're talking about Luke McCown. Backup QBs are either crappy QBs or diamonds in the rough and there's really no way to tell which one you have.
  12. The backup QB doesn't matter. If Cutler gets hurt for the season, it's a lost season, unless we get incredibly lucky with a backup. We can get lucky with any backup. It's like hitting the lottery. If he gets hurt for a few games, we have a big chance of losing a few games. It's like Chicago needs some kind of QB debate.
  13. I think Pace's issue was mainly due to a horrible matchup for him... not that he's great anymore, but he's not THAT bad.
  14. cutler is making an obvious effort to cut down on the "you knows"
  15. he's amazing... i heart him so much
  16. http://sportscrack.com/images/cash4clunker_large.jpg
  17. Harrison has been the leader to start there for this season all along, which is part of the reason they were so disappointed when he showed up overweight. I'm not quite sure if he has fallen behind Adams at this point because of that or not, but I'm guessing Harrison will ultimately wind up starting.
  18. Durr, I mistook they to mean the Bears... figured you were saying they'd be rusty or something, which I didn't necessarily agree with but didn't want to argue about.
  19. You mean the GB game?
  20. If you don't have Insider, I'd recommend picking up the magazine and reading the article. It's pretty good. It does make a few negative points regarding him... Still a very interesting read, though.
  21. I love this http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/news/story?id=4420988&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnfl%2finsider%2fnews%2fstory%3fid%3d4420988
  22. So he wants to keep Lou and Hendry and get rid of Zambrano? No. Paul Sullivan is a [expletive] s.ensationalist hack is censored?
  23. How about the two years prior to this when the Cubs WERE significantly better than the Cardinals? Things are ugly right now but this isn't a team that needs a massive overhaul to be good next year.
  24. Ugh citing the 101 years thing.
