    Yeah... what's weird is that for the past few years, the Bulls have been this team of misfits that were good individually, but didn't fit together. We rid ourselves of Rose, Noah, and Gasol... and then go right back to making the team awkward again. I guess it should be no surprise. I'm honestly super excited about the move. Like I said before, I just really didn't want to watch the Bulls tank. This might be a total disaster, but I am anxious to watch and find out. If we can be at least kinda good, I'll be happy. yeah, at the very least i'm interested in next season now

    this is a weird team... butler is very very good, wade has been good up until now, lopez is good, rondo was good last year, but none of them really fit basketball wise, especially with what the coach supposedly wants to do. i have no idea what to expect. i could see an absolute disaster and i could see like 50 wins. mcdermott and mirotic have shown flashes of being solid nba rotational players and at other times have looked awful...hopefully they keep getting better and it's more of the former.

    We're flinging poo at the wall and hoping it sticks. We're not rebuilding. lol that's exactly what "rebuilding" in the nba would be, only with a much higher chance of being terrible

    butler isn't exactly a bad 3 point shooter btw...just isn't a great one. he's good. wade and rondo, on the other hand... but wade has at least never had a PER lower than 20 in his career. he still knows how to be efficient.

    No, the main issue is the fact that we have absolutely no long range shooting, and two big lumbering big men down low. As someone mentioned earlier, our roster is now pretty much the opposite of what the rest of the NBA is doing. That could be beneficial at times, I'm not sure. It's definitely gonna be interesting to watch these guys play together. We signed a point guard whose only real positive attribute is running transition offense and surrounded him with old, slow guys. isn't he one of the old slow guys? who else besides wade?

    as silly as I think they are, the Bulls front office may have backed into a masterstroke. They have room for 2 max deals next year I think if they dump rondo. They could make a move for Heyward or Westbrook. Rebuilding would have gotten them nowhere and wasted prime years of our current franchise player in Jimmy. They also kept Taj which we badly need for rebounding. Lopez can rebound and defend and is a solid NBA starter. The front court is weak but still the team is maybe the 2nd or 3rd best in the east. If the cavs get injured again in the playoffs who knows the bulls could do some real damage. Main issue here is the coach is a jackass I wish anybody else was coaching. hey look you actually said some good things for once that don't have to do with chicago restaurant/hotel recommendations

    Also funny that he's asking ESPN to report his scoop when ESPN has the selection show on their network. Like they are going to leak news from a random blogger to scoop their own selection show minutes before it airs I'm pretty sure he's joking because ESPN has a reputation for stealing stuff and not giving credit. He's making fun.

    I think this is like the third time (and third girl) Almora has been engaged with since we drafted him. I think I remember seeing that he got this one pregnant, though. how the [expletive] you know this stuff or is this just like your processors are constantly scraping google information and you discovered it through your wedding registry database i just remember goony and others making fun of him for getting engaged (he was active on social media) when he was like 19...then suddenly there was a new girl like weeks later and we made fun of that. then he disappeared from social media because he said it was distracting him...and now he's engaged again with a baby on the way.

    Plz explain. What the hell did I miss this weekend? It certainly can't be his numbers. Rational or not, David. Rational or not. I think I mainly just miss Dex. It seems like Almora just always makes an out whenever I watch him. I clearly prefaced this with the OP. i realized you said rational or not... i just wasn't sure what your reason was whether it was an irrational one (is that an oxymoron?) or a rational one since he's been damn good. just weird to be sick of a good young player coming up and doing well. obviously we all want one of the best players in the league this year back asap.

    I don't mind him, but he is hammered and babbling nonsense Guess I'd have to hear it to see how bad it is. I mean it's a blowout so I'm not sure why it's bothering anyone that much to have that going on for a couple innings. It would have to be him just rambling out racist offensive crap for it to really bother me.
