    i think they say he's polarizing among fans, which he is...i've never seen it painted as they all hate him.

    If I recall correctly, the hamstring/groin tear or whatever it was he suffered against Arizona (week 2 ironically) last year was supposed to keep him out 3-4 weeks, and returned after missing just one game. I doubt he plays Sunday night but after reading that, I fully expect him out there against Detroit next week. The "Jay isn't tough" narrative bothers me far more than "he sucks". At least the latter can be debated. The former should be so far out the window at this point. Dude is a tough SOB. Yes, this and the "Bears fans loathe Jay Cutler" narrative drive me nuts. I know there are meatballs out there that don't like Jay, but I would say 90% of Bears fans I know either like him or at worst are 'meh' on him. I'd say 90% is way high

    I have always enjoyed listening to Vin Scully. I think a big part of it is that he was the voice of the playoffs and World Series for a large part of my childhood. Hearing him broadcast a game now doesn't sound all that much different than it did 20-30 years ago. I have been going to bed each night this week with the Dodgers broadcast on MLB.tv and will likely continue to do that for most nights up until the end of the season. I'm sure some people have good reasons for disliking him, but for me he is easily the most iconic voice in baseball history and I want to listen to him as much as possible while I still can. I mean I get that...I kinda feel that way about Jon Miller and Morgan even though they are awful, especially Morgan. But he's a rambling old man and everyone tries to pretend he's still on top of his game.
