  1. I saw this and assumed he had given up like six runs in the second inning or something. The horsefeathers is wrong with you?
  2. I wish I lived a block away like last year. That was fun.
  3. https://www.instagram.com/p/BKee-60hEIu/
  4. Could be decent if they can get some pitching. 3rd is not an outrageous reach that and the pirates are sunk
  5. That is for sure a hot take. i'd be even more confident in it if broxton hadn't killed his wrist yesterday
  6. my hot take of the day - the brewers will finish at least 3rd next year, ahead of the pirates. maybe 2nd.
  7. lmao but what's not funny is this scrub lineup game ruining our run differential
  8. 100 wins isn't in question shut the horsefeathers up david i too hope we start real players. i want 105 wins.
  9. a javy BB and a CJ hr both in this game...not sure what is more rare
  10. who is making excuses? we're just grasping at straws to try to optimize his starts as much as possible. He probably understands that his son was a [expletive] drunk too. for a few seconds i had forgotten about the todd hundley post and i was beyond confused
  11. hahaha oh man
  12. Wow. Funny thing is that in an interview on ESPN 1000 this week jake was asked his optimal defense when pitching and he listed Contreras as catcher. Not that it means anything. I think we are looking too hard for excuses for Jake, but I will defer to the people I've quoted whose opinions I trust who is making excuses? we're just grasping at straws to try to optimize his starts as much as possible.
  13. it's kinda funny how good a relationship the org/fans seemingly have with randy hundley compared to how things went with his son
  14. In the second half, Montero has caught Jake 5 times: 33.2 IP, 19 H, 8 ER, 28/9 K/BB, 2 HR Only start with more than 2 runs given up was the game at the Cell. Wow. horsefeathers it. i'm far from a big pitcher/catcher pairing guy but willson hasn't been good enough and montero has lately for it not to be worth trying. montero is also the second best framer in baseball this year. given jake's movement, that might be key.
  15. probably the best kawasaki has hit a ball
  16. how far behind is your stream? ha
  17. i wish he would've ran hard all the way around and tried to score, horsefeathers it lol
  18. you wil take a half dong with a javy slide and you will like it
  19. I'm not even sure he's the #3 right now. Hammel is the only one I confidently start him over. lackey has been solid but jake has been clearly better jeez what would you be saying about arrieta if he got tagged around like lackey did yesterday giving up hard hit balls left and right
  20. good slider is back, possible silver lining
  21. not really but a ton of wildness and some really really bad misses
