Something Boone couldn't observe because he was too busy hoping the Cubs would blow the game because Maddon let Ross have his moment. I was skeptical of Mendoza only because I felt early in her tenure she would try to relate baseball and softball but she's been phenomenal. Boone sucks. I think even Boone is solid.

    his claim that cubans connect more with a marlin than a yankee seem like a bit of a stretch...cubans notoriously love the yankees (i understand this still to be the case, but i'm going off my parents and grandparents and their friends and such) and the marlins have been struggling against with the local cuban fanbase since they came into the league.
