I just hope next year we have an opening "day" again and not night. i like night games and it was cool for a year or two but i miss my day off work drunk fest starting at 9 or 10 am that usually makes up my opening day.

I really don't understand your problem with this. I get that people often use stupid filters to talk about random Kurkjian factoids, but if you admit that sub 2 is cool and leading the league is cool then I do not see what the problem is with pointing out the very small number of cubs who have led the league with a sub 2. because it is basically a randon kurkjian factoid. it's an anomaly resulting from and related to an accomplishment not an actual accomplishment itself (see my previous edit)

why? If lots of guys did it but didn't lead the league maybe that shows you it was relatively easy to do in those years. sub 2 and leading league is cool oh, come on. as it is, 2 is just an arbitrary cutoff point that looks cool. it tells you just about nothing. i mean, if you want to look at what you're talking about, you just go look up who led the league in ERA+. hell, just last year arrieta had a considerably lower ERA (and better ERA+) but didn't lead the league because grienke happened to be lower.

True, but it seemed like, last year, at least, the StubHub numbers really drastically dipped closer to the game. Like tickets that were listing for $700 wound up going for less than half that. Basically, I think a lot of those numbers are inflated right now and will come back down to reality (even though they still won't be "cheap")

I haven't heard a peep. I hope they don't go the Blackhawks route for you guys. All electronic tickets. Wouldn't really bother me that much, but I doubt it. I haven't heard or seen anything yet even electronically, though.
