    oh man i would love that 4:30 start so much but you're probably right Guess you're rooting for the Dodgers to get home field over the Nats. Cubs will definitely have the earlier games if MLB can put LA in the late start. Oh, wow. I didn't even realize that was still in play.

    Mets are now 94% to take a wild card and have a magic number of two. Looks like a pretty safe bet we won't have to face Thor twice in the NLDS, at least. Anyone know how the GIants rotation situation is lining up?

    Sure they could but it's likely what they are now is closer to what they are moving forward than anything much better. Unless their 3 young starters all with injury/other question marks stay healthy/improve and their aging superstar has a good mid-late peak career season. Which sure all are possible. I'm just not buying it. I'd bet a lot more on a Mccutchen bounce-back if so much of his decline wasn't defense. They're definitely a team where everything will need to go right for them to compete. just move cutch to a corner if he's really that much of a liability and put polanco there. he came up as a highly regarded CF, iirc.

    Lol. They're a mid 80s win team at best for the foreseeable future with their budget and dependence on young pitching. i wouldn't be at all shocked if they bounce back next year

    Yes these 3 innings negate the entire season of numbers. yeah. im' not really worried. i'm just less confident than i would've been if friday jake showed up today. gonna be interesting to see what all that rest does to (or for) him.

    pretty serious storm just knocked out my satellite signal. so i go to accuweather to see how long it'll be in my way. looks like most of it has passed and i'm like ok cool no problem. check the minute cast and there's rain for the foreseeable future. then i actually hit play on the radar thingy and the storm is moving from east to west WTF signal just came back tho :)
