Yea... basically a repeat of Antrelle Rolle. Hope this works out better Wasn't Antrelle Rolle crappy for a few years before we signed him or am I remembering wrong? I don't remember being at all enthused about that signing.

If you can sign a guy for that cheap who just had that type of season because he's being undervalued because of age, it's a good move.

Demps is a good player. He might fall off the cliff next year, but PFF had him with an 85.2 grade last year. 7th highest ranked FA safety, and an easy upgrade. Demps and Amos is a nice safety combo. Cheap signing, so shouldn't preclude anything else. I like the move a good bit.

Would rather have Bouye Isn't Gilmore the better scheme fit? I know they had interest in Boyue last year, but that was at minimal salary. They have interest this year, reportedly. Look a few posts up.

is 13 drops in 6 games even a relatively high total? i'm thinking it is, but obviously it's not like you just turn them all into completions. Seriously. And if all his passes were more accurate, he would have had a 100% completion percentage. What a find! the tweet is silly enough that it makes me want to question everything he ever says from now on

As in the roster? I think it's probably divided. I still think he has plenty of guys on his side in the locker room.

There is no outcome on the bell curve where you can build around Glennon. Theres like 6 QBs in the game like that. The optimistic end is that he is a borderline top 1/3 QB, and can go far with him and a talented D and good supporting cast.... like a prime Flacco. so he can or cannot be elite? I think he can be above average. I think it's fairly likely that he's a better option (as a player - not sure what the calculus is when you bring contracts into the picture) than Cutler next year. Cutler keeps getting hurt, has now hurt his throwing arm (and his throwing hand seems to be a recurring issue now as well), and just had a pretty shitty year when he did play.

Right on. I can read well enough to see that the only two QB names you typed out were Cutler and Glennon. What was your solution again? I'm still trying to figure out what all these letters and spaces mean. Did you come up with an alternate solution in here and I missed it? Does he really need to? He's not the GM. He can dislike a move without having to come up with a better one himself.
