  1. Lol nice edit. not even sure how that happened lol

  3. Because they're broken and can't be changed at this point to anything that's not already created in the system. Just like how I can only have a sig of mine show up in the baseball threads. WHAT ARE WE (NOT) PAYING FOR. and that reminds me i haven't donated in a while so i donated
  4. you also gave us the incredibly off base "piss break" but yeah more hits than misses
  5. junior lake still shocks me more because i expect to see random dudes that show up for a start or two from AAA, but junior lake feels like 10 years ago.
  6. He's also grading out positively as a LFer this season and as an OFer for his career in terms of UZR, for whatever you want to put into the sample size (260 innings this year, approaching 600 career).
  7. Without even looking I'm sure there was a Coghlan/Sweeney/Lake monstrosity somewhere in the 2014 season. True, those days are a haze for me. I pretty much meant, before we became good. But anyway, as much as I am hoping Al gets playing time, and believe in his talent, he is simply an auto-out vs RHP at this point in his career. And last year was a total outlier in him reversing his splits. I don't put much stock in that happening again anytime soon. He has much work to do in that respect. we had coghlan/szczur/baxter in 2015 as well as coghlan/szczur/denorfia oh and coghlan/denorfia/baxter
  8. uh, no i mean i pretty clearly stated that i'm not saying he's THIS guy from now on, but those projections are also extremely low and bad
  9. lol
  10. wonder what he thinks about jeannie buss
  11. i mean he clearly has a good approach at the plate and what appears to be pretty effortless power. i think it might be myopic to put too much stock into his zips projections based highly on his AA struggles. especially with how good this organization's track record is with developing hitters who profile like him. i'm not saying he's this guy now from now on...but i think those projections are silly low given how on fire he's been since fall (with major caveats, yes) and the eye test.

  13. can we plz move this back to cubs discussions or do we need to start an entirely new (and thus far much deserved) ian happ thread? [tweet] [/tweet]
  14. didn't happ talk about an adjustment he made (maybe it was a leg kick thing? don't remember exactly) in the AFL last fall? who knows how much of his production since has been sustainable but it might be a serious factor.
  15. i've seen plenty of lists with jackson and/or tatum ahead of ball Have you seen any that don't have Fultz at #1? that i have not
  16. they're not (consensus, that is) Ok, expected top two picks. i've seen plenty of lists with jackson and/or tatum ahead of ball
  17. they're not (consensus, that is)
  18. that may have been a valid comparison last year, but i don't see it now edit: nevermind, I just realized you were talking about the warriors chance at going undefeated in the postseason basically i was just saying i rarely root against greatness happening unless i really dislike a player/team involved or something like with lebron or the cardinals the warriors have an insane roster and i want to see them play insanely well.
  19. watching wainwright get away with what he got away with this weekend was awful
