    kyle looked really good there very annoying at bat with belt

    ehh baez has like an 8% walk rate for his career vs lefties, which is pretty respectable, and around a .340 OBP including his awful 2014. and, for whatever it's worth, almora has walked like 8% of the time in his limited time vs lefties (with a ridiculous .315/.367/.589 line) i don't have any issue with it vs a lefty also, maybe it's not approach/discipline and it's just a lesser ability to read same handed pitching

    i hate his impotent bat, but i'm still optimistic on his fielding probably way too early to glean much meaningful info from his stats but they kind of support the idea he's ranged far to make some highlight reel plays, though he's fared poorly on more routine attempts; anecdotally it seems like a few situations deferring to others, or in-between hits he hasn't fully committed to- wonder about added assertiveness as he gains comfort at any rate we're probably greedy to expect much better than a league-average starter [tweet] [/tweet]

    I will bet you field vs cubs at even money for the nl central. Whatever amount you name. I don't disagree that the Cubs are still the favorite, but that doesn't make winning the division (or even making the playoffs) a foregone conclusion. I still think the Cubs will win the division, but my level of concern is certainly higher now than it was at the beginning of April. I mean, sure, I agree. I'm just saying I'm confident enough in it that I'll give you even money on the field. That's a pretty overwhelming favorite.
