Jim Edmonds in CF then with Jeters bat, I'll take it Edmonds was actually really horsefeathering good defensively before he got old, narratives about intentionally making catches look spectacular aside.

He's striking out 11+ guys/9 and walking 2.3 w a kind of ridiculous HR/FB rate Today he has given up a couple hard hit balls but also a ton of BABIP crap and the error I didn't realize his underlying numbers were that good, okay Jake doesn't suck then. Just some bad luck hopefully evening out soon. i actually misread, the strikeouts are more like 10.5, but yea.
