  1. By the way, Biggs (in one of those articles I linked above) mentioned that if Fangio leaves, Gus Bradley is a name they might be interested in. Edit - I just realized we'd probably have to go back to a 4-3 base for this. Eh.

  6. maybe he's very happy with the hire and keeping fangio as defensive coordinator would be the cherry on top that would make him super happy
  7. apparently, reid helped pederson assemble his staff in philly and may do the same for nagy and apparently he views nagy more highly than he viewed pederson as an nfl hc prospect this is based on some greg gabriel stuff and listening to the score and parkins talking to his KC connects (where he used to work)
  8. there are lots of dumb meatballs in NFL front offices, like the ones who said ryan pace got himself fired with the 2017 draft, and the kind that say a bright young candidate made himself unhireable based on one bad half of offense (even if he did do the playcalling himself)
  9. why? Because winning comes first in the NFL. Why would Reid, on the week of a playoff game, allow him to take time off to prepare for an interview for another job? I get that Reid has traditionally called plays as a head coach, but doesn't make sense to me to change things up before a do-or-die game. I could see him a) not wanting to stand in the way of a guy's livelihood and a big opportunity, b) being fully confident in his own ability to call the offense, regardless of how well it was running with nagy, and c) doing andy reid playoff things and it sure did look like reid was calling plays
  10. there is no way that can be true. why?

  17. if he was calling plays (there's a lot of talk that reid was, and sideline shots appeared to show him doing so), people are upset at what their offense did in the second half...lol.
  18. hopefully they actually have the contract worked out and this isn't another mcginnis lmao
  19. relatively young offensive mind. i'm good with it. of the reported names he was prob my 2nd choice. I've agreed with those ranking DeFilipo 1 and Nagy 2 with reasons to flip that order, as rawaction explained well earlier. Fangio staying obviously makes a big difference, hopefully that pans out. I could see him wanting to stay with what he's helped build, and of course $$$. Never know after being passed over for HC. Anyways, I'm not saying anything enlightening here. This hire sounds promising. It'll be interesting to see if Nagy calls the plays any word out there on his potential OC? i can't imagine that he wouldn't call the plays it occurred to me that maybe flip could be brought in as OC, but i can't see the eagles letting him leave for an OC gig.

  21. I saw a report that Reid was calling plays again on Saturday, but not sure if there's any validity to it.
  22. covered by schwarbs would be more likely
  23. it was darvish or arrieta and yelich vs. cobb and cain
