    daniel murphy, even without the homophobia, is one of the few players i really hate (for non off field things). he better be awesome.

    maddon gave a positive update today that he's been taking some swings and feeling good still no real timetable tho. i figure they're gonna let him sit as long as possible while the team's playoff outlook remains good bc why not.

    Very little. his offensive numbers this year are good, even without arbitrary endpoints (but recently better like imb pointed out) abysmal at defense and baserunning tho, but that's noisy so meh
