    Yeah, the Cubs having their own RSN doesn't change anything about the blackout restrictions. I don't anticipate that anything would change for out of "market" viewers.

    Bote is currently 5th in the NL for rookie fWAR at 1.6 despite having only 46 games under his belt.     I hope they give him a contract as well. Nothing like a knee jerk reaction. I am not sure this guy is that good. I'm not sure it really matters past getting rid of the poisonous atmosphere that Matheny seemingly fostered. That said, if there was a chance they'd hire someone actively bad like Dusty or something, I would've liked that.
