I'll never be able to drink at a baseball game, just because I know that if I do I will no longer pay any attention to the game. I'm there for the baseball, I'll drink later than night when I get home.

It'd be interesting to see how the Cubs would be doing about now if the users on this board were making the decisions. Honestly...I can't say that I think we'd be as good as we are right now. We'd have Khalil Greene instead of Ryan Theriot (And if we couldn't get Greene, we would have found some way to replace Theriot. Possibly with Cedeno), we definitely wouldn't have Edmonds, Probably no Lee..since everybody wanted to hold on to Hee Seop Choi, etc. Of course everything I just said was more GM decisions than managerial decisions. I do think that a lot of the board users would do more than an adequate job of in-game decision making.

I don't pay much attention the the White Sox...or the AL at all really, so I was pretty surprised to see that the Twins are just a half game back now. It's just a good thing they don't have Liriano getting the start tomorrow. That sure would suck for them.

I can't even imagine the amount of hate I would have for carlos if he was a Cardinal or Brewer. As it is though, I hope he plays until he's 60 and is on the Cubs his whole career.

Dude, those guys work for the Cubs. Sheehan doesn't. Z is not a 18 year old pitcher, he's a horse. Don't worry, Lou will take him out but this pitch count crap is getting ridiculous. It's not like he has thrown 160 pitches. Got any fishing stories for us?
