  1. Get Fuzzy is great. I wish I could find the one from several years ago where the guy is trying to explain his Fantasy Team to Bucky.
  2. I figured it was somebody they were paying to play for someone else, so it just took a minute to remember who that could be. Not too many choices once it's narrowed down to that.
  3. Jason Kendall
  4. Unfathomable. Give up 3 baserunners, get 6 yourselves, and lose 1-0.
  5. Sorry Weathers, you have to go outside to get a foot off the plate
  6. Good stuff Lee, too bad his hitting streak is snapped.
  7. I don't think Jones can see the outside corner with a teloscope from where he's standing.
  8. Murton with a loud out, start him every game until he retires
  9. Looked like a strike to me. Lee has to swing the bat if it's that close. Maybe if Theriot was hitting. Never was over the plate and was easily low on Lee.
  10. How many changeups can you swing through? Unbelievable
  11. This is why you don't bunt, hopefully Phil Garner is watching somewhere
  12. For those not in front of the TV, what happened? If he tipped it and Barrett caught it, what was the fuss about? Encarnacion said it hit him in the hand. Isn't the hand part of the bat anyway?
  13. Thanks for the thought out response. On the first deal, I'm basically banking on it being somebody who overvalues Teahen(he's either a Royals or Cardinals fan, like everyone in the league except me) and/or having an irrational hatred of Dunn. I'm also hoping for more of a reputation view of Freel/Peralta, remembering Freel's steals and versatility, and remembering Peralta's crappy 2006(fortunately he doesn't have Peralta starting). On the second deal, I've been after Glaus for quite a while because he can add power at SS. My team is littered with guys who are either a plus in AVG or at least won't hurt me(Dunn would be one if I got him), so I think I can afford to give away some AVG to get the extra HR that Glaus will provide. That said, I certainly don't mind going after Manny, but if the Dunn deal goes through then I'd be benching one of Hawpe/Ordonez while having Peralta/Tulowitzki at SS. Not quite the net gain I'd hope for. Maybe if the Dunn deal doesn't happen I'll try a larger deal for Glaus+Manny, I know for sure that guy is a huge Teahen fan.
  14. Pie K's against LHP Mark McLemore, who was apparently reincarnated as a white pitcher.
  15. He strikes out the first batter in the 6th and gets pulled. Same line as above except 10 K's and 80 pitches. EDIT: And obviously, 5.1 IP
  16. Marmol is dealing. 5 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 9/0 K/BB, 76 pitches
  17. That's 7 walks in 9 games for Pie.
  18. I'm debating a series of moves in my 12 team, standard categories(AVG, R, HR, RBI, SB) league I have: C Barrett 1B Helton 2B Kendrick SS Tejada 3B Chipper OF Sizemore OF Magglio Ordonez OF Hawpe UT Cuddyer BN Teahen BN Tulowitzki BN Freel BN Iannetta I'm considering offering Teahen and Freel for Dunn and Jhonny Peralta(pretty much a straight swap of positions, hoping for a difference in how we value those guys), and then(if accepted) offering Tejada and Hawpe/Magglio for Manny and adding Upton. Any thoughts? I could also target Glaus instead of Manny in the second trade, as the player has Glaus, Atkins, and Crede but only K. Greene at SS. Actually, Glaus makes more sense as a target so he can play SS and Dunn gets into the lineup. So anyway, I proposed the first trade, comments would be appreciated.
  19. Wuertz is the best reliever on the team. He should be used as such.
