  1. No. He pulled it to LF. What's he hitting right handed against Williams for?
  2. The theme is that pretty much all those guys hit at the top of the order, giving them more plate appearances in front of good hitters. Think about what you're saying for a minute. Dunn gets on base more often, and hits for extra bases more often than all of those guys(i.e. he puts himself on the bases and in scoring position more often). Do you really think the difference in runs is because those other hitters hit singles(or in the case of those with a lower OBP, hit into outs) when Dunn walks?
  3. Marco may be quite the sleeper, he has a chance to make some noise.
  4. I'm more willing to place the 1-run record on Lou rather than the players. His bullpen management makes me wonder if he's point shaving.
  5. Wasn't this the prevalent opinion in 2004? We were awful in 1-run games, then in 2005 we were awesome at them, but we sucked overall. Or am I mixing up the years?

  7. He oughta be, and suspended as well if Lilly gets suspended. He definitely should be suspended. What he did was far worse than what Lilly or even Hudson did.
  8. What a travesty. Moral of the story is that you better not beat a team too bad on Friday, or else they'll abuse MLB's backwards ejection rules to steal a game from you.
  9. I gotta say, I didn't see the "Dempster throwing a wild pitch while simultaneously rolling his ankle" coming
  10. The alternative is bringing in Eyre for 2 of 3 RH hitters, we're in trouble either way.
  11. A cowboy comes into town on Friday, stays three days, and leaves on Friday. How did he do it? On behalf of the entire Apache Nation, we beg you, Mr. Dempster: get three straight outs. Looks like Ryan ordered Night Nurses from Jersey one too many times last night.
  12. A cowboy comes into town on Friday, stays three days, and leaves on Friday. How did he do it?
  13. Don't worry about the check swing, that was in the strike zone you dolt.
  14. That's Wuertz's face? I don't see it I could never figure out who that was supposed to be. Sure looks like cyber-Wuertz. The number fits when he turns to pitch. Early in the commercial you can see it's Z's 38.
  15. Better luck next year LeBrons
  16. Wow, great call. And it sure looked like Cox said a lot of magic words right there.
  17. Samson started at short today and went 1 for 2 with a K and a sacrifice.
  18. Fontenot would've been out by 10 feet if he had gone.
  19. Oh how I love the "swing at the eye high fastball, then take a belt high one" routine.
  20. Nah, Johnson hit a HR earlier, he's the target. Too bad Ryu isn't still in the system, we could hide him in the stands or something and have him snipe somebody.
