15SB with O CS and a .988 OPS? Is this the kid that had a ridiculous year in college too? If so, it may be possible that he is figuring things out and the pick could turn out to be a steal. Yep, Thomas was the guy who had the insane year at Florida State. He turned 21 a month ago.

hahaha, 3 messages in 2 days, the horror!

After a triple and a walk last night, Tony Thomas' OPS is approaching 1.000 .325/.413/.575/.988, 10/16 BB/K, 15 SB, 0 CS

Good thing I checked this thread, I had no idea we could change formations(I don't think I'm going to though), and I didn't know Lennon was down.
  5. Transmogrified Tiger
I want to see him face Hill/Marshall/Lilly, methinks that would be fun for all.

    In other words

Quentin is a fantastic defender. Depending on how the rest of our offense looks(come to Uncle Lou, Alex) I'd love to buy low on him.

12 teams, 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF 1 for every 20 passing yards, 3 for passing TDs, -2 for picks 1 for every 10 rush/rec yards, 6 for TDs, -2 for fumbles Defense based on points allowed, no points for turnovers And now for the goods: QB Marc Bulger RB Rudi Johnson RB Reggie Bush WR Roy Williams WR Reggie Brown TE Randy McMichael K Josh Scobee DEF Kansas City QB Matt Leinart RB Cadillac Williams RB DeShaun Foster RB Michael Turner WR Jerricho Cotchery WR Vincent Jackson WR Ashley Lelie TE Eric Johnson Anyone with any thoughts? I think I did alright for myself considering it's a 12 team league.

I PM'ed Outshined about the situation, but he's globetrotting so he hasn't seen it yet. Hopefully he logs on soon and can put together some type of list for future picks.

Floyd, I hate your 400 foot foul balls so much. If it weren't for that you probably would've been euthanized around June.
  11. Transmogrified Tiger
Was DeRosa not paying attention? How do you not see the infield is in?
  12. Transmogrified Tiger
Wait, why are the Cubs going to hit, Z hasn't walked a bunch of guys yet. Is that not required in the first inning of his starts anymore?
  13. Transmogrified Tiger
Floyd is like an old dog that needs to be put down.

Before today he had thrown 13.1 IP in the last 11 days. Now he's in his 2nd inning of work. Yikes. In other anti-Brewer news, Braun committed his 17th error earlier. He's played in 40 fewer games than the rest of the pack and he's one behind Cabrera for the most among MLB 3B, he's got a fielding percentage under .900.

Not the NBA. MLB moniters this and will punish a team that the feel is abusing the DL. I also think Pagan could just be sent down, so why DL him. The Cubs have had a number of conveniently timed injuries in the past...I definitely think it's a phantom injury. Is this really conveniently timed? It's not like Pie was scheduled to come back right now and the needed to clear the roster spot.

A DOZEN players better than Bonds? Really?
  17. Transmogrified Tiger
Yeah, if Lou thinks he can get by with DeRosa/Fontenot/Patterson as a backup SS, then Cedeno is a goner.

"...Righhhttt" http://www.affordablehousinginstitute.org/blogs/us/dr_evil_1_small.jpg Are you accusing Will Carroll of libel?

Kyler Burke is 2 for 2 with a HR, Boise is tied at 5 after 4.
  21. Transmogrified Tiger
I get it, DoPo sounds like dope-o!
  22. Transmogrified Tiger
hahaha, Betemit for Proctor. That and signing Pierre to his contract should be enough grounds for immediate dismissal.
  23. Transmogrified Tiger
Marshall with 43 thru 4 Please get him some runs so we aren't forced to PH for him in the 6th or 7th just because there's a man on when he comes up.
  24. Transmogrified Tiger
They gotta get every dig they can at the cubs fans watching. That's because they know there are no Astros fans. What was the question? Who was taken before Prior in the draft
  25. Transmogrified Tiger
I wonder if he's wearing down a bit. Hopefully he'll repeat Peoria and be improved next year.
