Mizzou just started selling single game tickets this week, although I didn't check the link to see if that included the Arch Rivalry or Border War since I'll be getting student tickets. Clicking around the Mizzou website a bit, it doesn't look like they're on sale. In other Arch Rivalry news, they moved the start time back to 7:30 this week to accomodate ESPN. Looks like it'll be the prime time matchup.

Littlefield was good in a scouting role. He could help out in the advising position he's in, especially on a team that will actually spend on the draft. -

Does "safer" player generally mean "college" player? I know the Cubs have been burned recently on some early HS picks that didn't pan out (Harvey is the one that immediately comes to mind). He was talking in terms of health. With the state of our farm system, we can't afford to gamble on somebody reaching their potential and staying healthy, as opposed to just reaching their potential.

The rest of Saber Scouting's mock is up, both guys have us taking Kelly. I didn't realize he was from Dunedin, he might as well get his Cub hat now. Kiley tried to project the sandwich round and had us taking Chris Carpenter. Not a fan of that pick either.

I looked through last year's thread a little bit to see what time the Cubs would likely be making their pick, and decided to see how some of the early picks are doing. Aumont, Parker, and Bumgarner are all doing really well. Sean Doolittle, the last minute riser who no one wanted(and went 7 picks before the Cubs sandwich pick anyway) is hitting .330/.418/.632/1.050 in A+ as a 21 year old. Moustakas has a .706 OPS in Low A with a ton of errors at SS. LaPorta is raking at AA, and Heyward has a .900+ OPS in Low A. Wieters is pushing a 1.000 OPS at A+.

It's basically rebranded Hardees. So yes. Not "basically." It is Hardees. Exactly the same. There's a Hardees in my town. It's the most disgusting food I've ever put in my mouth. I haven't eaten there in years, and the only reason I used to eat there sometimes was because it was across the street from my old job and I'd run over there on my lunch hour. This is blasphemy, Hardees is the Cadillac of fast food. The one at school had a bacon cheese melt, a double burger with bacon and cheese sauce. And you could get 2 for 3 dollars, it was like stealing.
