    I just came to make this post. Bring him back please.

    He's always been pretty old for his level when he's had success, and he was unable to continue the success he had in A and AA at Iowa this year offensively. While he's not an abomination at 1B or in the OF, his defense isn't going to be considered a plus. But basically he's been very old for the levels he's had success at, and was terrible in AAA before he was demoted.

    Hitting for power was the big concern with Murton. I thought he'd hit a little more than he is right now(I predicted .340/.420 OBP/SLG for him), and maybe he still will with a hot streak and summer days at Wrigley with the wind blowing out. That said, considering his .721 OPS comes with a .356 OBP right now, I'm hesitant to call him a liability all things considered.

    where does one find line drive stats? It doesn't go back very far(2004), but The Hardball Times has them.

    He's probably arguing that NeifSuck pushed him off the base, which he did. His entire body slid past the base, there was a good chance of him coming off even if Neifi wasn't waiting for the tag.

    He's walking more and striking out less than previous years, which means he should be okay when his BABIP rises some(and for a guy with his speed hitting the amount of line drives he is, it should). I don't see the point in comparing him to Jones though. A more appropriate comparison would be to Pierre, and this year Corey has been unmistakably superior.

    Now Raisin can be happy. I finally was able to upload the videos of Scherzer! These are both from his March 10th start. They were taken with my digital camera at the only spot I wasn't obstructed by the screen or other people, so you basically just get a good look at his mechanics. Windup Stretch
