  1. Yeah, I posted a comment about that on Brock's front page article that contains hints.
  2. As you look at the posts, there's line between each The buttons on the right side just under the line give you the ability to edit, etc. At the bottom of the post where you found the "quote" button, the button at the far right should be the thumb button.
  3. I'm of the opinion that "sandwich" is a term with multiple meanings. It is both the very specific platonic ideal we have in mind, but also the entire category of "things between bready outsides".
  4. I'm just assuming that getting the posts back from the most recent seven years is a higher priority.
  5. The thumb button gives you loves, laughs, dislikes & sad. No idea about edits yet.
  6. Definitely not finished. But it will be a big change.
  7. Meh
  8. I'll think of more, but for now: Haydn McGeary is for real and posts great numbers in Tenn after a mid-season promotion
  9. Nice. I just found the blue button on the left edge of the window that goes back to the top of the page.
  10. It's the middle icon in the top bar next to your name. Well, the middle rectangle for now.
  11. He was returned from the Mariners today. Yay, I guess.
  12. Quick note for long-timers: On the old software, clicking the icon to the left of the category brought you into the category. Now it sets that whole forum as being read. That'll take some getting used to!
  13. I'm just plain "Tim" again! I'm sure this is on the list, but I'm not seeing any of the icons at the top of the page.
  14. I haven't found the PM button yet. I seem to have numbers. 😄
  15. Why the hell am I Tim30983509871349871248723502-508324534557?
  16. It was so weird for me this morning seeing the 404 error. First off, it felt strange letting go after 20 years. But then it felt great seeing a 404 error and not having to fix it myself!
  17. Nope. I'm not 100% sure how merging the NSBB forum with the NSBB archive will behave but I suspect it's based on email address. If you know the username/email you used on the 2007-2015 board, I can merge your old account into the 2016-present account. I'll talk about that a lot more post-launch once I get a better grip on how it works and the stumbling blocks that will inevitably come along with the merger. There's actually a userID that's underlying things in the database. That's the db key field.
  18. I've been on the "Tauchman isn't the lock people are saying he is" position for a while now.
  19. Are you as disappointed as I am in how infrequently they change?
  20. Small but big change as far as the URL so thanks for that info. I don't think Tim would be surprised to hear that we all (or at least most) go straight to the forum url and skip the front page entirely. It will be nice to have a front page now after all these years of there not being a front page to the site. Which is funny, because nobody paid attention to the front page in all those years when I did try to maintain it! (not that I'm bitter)
  21. Plus, in general, the only first basemen that get drafted high are the ones that are no-doubt hitting stars. Since Mervis was splitting his time as a pitcher, he hadn't yet shown that he was a no-doubt offensive force.
  22. If Stroud is still there at 9, you take advantage of that fact and trade down with someone. If the clear BPA isn't at a position of need, you have an opportunity to derive additional value from the pick by letting someone else take that guy. Then grab the BPA (that fits your needs) wherever your pick lands.
  23. Same domain but the URL structure will change a bit. The front page will be news - as it is now, but active - while the forums will be at /forums/ instead of the current /forum/. And then there will be loads of other stuff that's all new. Small but big change as far as the URL so thanks for that info. I don't think Tim would be surprised to hear that we all (or at least most) go straight to the forum url and skip the front page entirely. Wait, what?!?
