  1. My perception of guaranteed rate is definitely impacted by the fact that I haven't been there since it was only 1-2 years old. It was stupidly generic having been built one year before Camden changed everything.
  2. For me, my top four are clearly better than what comes after. Philly is clearly better than the pretty generic stadiums that follow. I think the year I was at Kauffman was 2008 or so. Can't quite remember when I had a contract there.
  3. We also have a run differential 30 better than anyone else in the division, even though we're in 4th place. The second best run differential belongs to the Cardinals, who are in last.
  4. Just remembered I've been to KC, too. Stick that at #9 behind New Busch and in front of Milwaukee.
  5. I've got tickets to a bunch of stadiums this year and it got me thinking about my overall stadium rankings. I feel like I'm missing a few that I've visited, but the ones below are all I can think of. The ones that are tied at "99" are the ones I'm going to go to this summer. Rank City Team Park 1 Chicago Cubs Wrigley 2 Pittsburgh Pirates PNC 3 San Diego Padres PetCo 4 Baltimore Orioles Camden Yards 5 Philadelphia Phillies Citizens Bank 6 Detroit Tigers Comerica Park 7 Texas Rangers Choctaw Stadium 8 St Louis Cardinals New Busch 9 Milwaukee Brewers American Family Field 10 Chicago White Sox Guaranteed Rate 11 Los Angeles Angels Angel Stadium 12 Chicago White Sox Old Comiskey 13 San Diego Padres Jack Murphy 14 Pittsburgh Pirates Three Rivers 99 New York Yankees New Yankee Stadium 99 New York Mets Citi Field 99 Boston Red Sox Fenway Park 99 Cleveland Guardians Progressive Field 99 Oakland A's Colleseum 99 San Fran Giants AT+T 99 Colorado Rockies Coors Field Where have you guys been and how would they rank?
  6. If only the DH had come to the NL 6-7 years earlier
  7. So you would have a different definition of batting around in the first? No line to the first hitter there. That's just dumb. --- eta re-reading your post, it's the opposite. The final inning wouldn't bat around with nine guys, then? That's also dumb.
  8. Nope. You're wrong. Here are nine batters in the inning: Here's 10 batters:
  9. Write down the lineup. Draw a line starting with the first batter of the inning and loop around to the last batter of the inning. Does it complete an entire circle? You've batted around. Nine hitters doesn't do it.
  10. Have I mentioned that morel should be playing every damn day?
  11. Why was Morel's AB not scored as a sac fly?
  12. Love Morel going 1st to 3rd on a sac bunt. He should play every day.
  13. My device tells me that the AQI is 89 today for an amber/orangish level of alert.
  14. lol - when was the last time you had a good day?
  15. From BN this morning: I know he had a 1-24 streak, but he's still been doing good things. Yes, given the context of the conversation, he's been doing it while being protected from the most difficult matchups. But he's gotta get an everyday chance at some point.
  16. I admit my math was an approximation there.
  17. For an overall wRC+ of 165, which leads the team by <checks notes> infinity.
  18. Remind me again why Morel doesn't play everyday
  19. Got it. Scratch Gonzalez off the list.
  20. AA actually played pretty well at the end of the year as a center on the line with Reichel. This is the "fine", unexciting kind of signing we should expect this offseason. Plus taking on bad contracts for more assets to get to the floor.
