    Pretty nice sports day. I was going to be bummed if the magnificent Cubs game buzz I had going on got tainted by losing to the Blues.

    I'm not sure I want to count on Hammel being good the entire year. We've got Warren as a backup plan, but there's still a strong possibility that we'll want another horse for the 2nd half.

    The Cubs lead MLB in runs allowed per game. The Cubs are (barely) in 2nd place in MLB in runs scored per game. I could be wrong, but I think that's good. Other way around. per game

    So Bryant today.... raised his BA by 40 points (.233 -> .273) raised his OBP by 30 points (.303 -> .333) raised his SLG by 117 points (.383 -> .500) raised his wOBA by 57 points (.304 -> .361) raised his wRC+ by 37 points (87 -> 124) Not bad.
