So I think most of the guys currently starters will be traded or converted to bullpen. Hopefully the stuff can play up for some of these guys there.

How the hell did Marwin Gonzalez hit 23 HR this year? His average iso in the minors was around .060! He was the very definition of weak contact hitter.

Cracks me up that our entire slate of position players (other than Zobrist) is under control until 2022. Everybody. That's nuts. Just get Otani and another SP this year. Sign Harper after 2018 and make Heyward a part time player. Restock the pen each year. That's really it for the next five freaking years.

Oh - the only player we lose for 2020 is Zobrist. We're going to the NLCS that year, too.

No matter what happens in this series, we have the following players coming back next year: C - Contreras 1B - Rizzo 2B - Baez / Zobrist (with a healthy wrist) 3B - Bryant SS - Russell LF - Schwarber CF - Happ / Almora RF - Heyward SP - Lester SP - Hendricks SP - Quintana SP - Montgomery RP - Rondon RP - Strop RP - Edwards RP - Wilson Yeah. We're getting to the NLCS next year, too.
