I think i have been a Cub fan longer than most of you have been born. I grew up watching Santo and Kessinger and listened to Brickhouse, not Harry. And i call it like i see it. Maybe i am old and crusty, but i dont have much time left to see a winner at the pace these guys are going.

my point is that not only is he a bum with a lifetime OPS of .800 but he is brittle to boot. No way we should be giving him $11M a year.

We did lose one record the other nite. The Padres beat us 7-0 in the season series. In the entire history of the ballclub we had never been shutout in a season series of more than 5 games. We still hold the longest no-no streak. But with this group of bums, wont be long before Sandy's record falls too.
