  1. Behind the 200 level, and half way up the ramp to the Upper Deck. They check tickets for the UD and don't let you up there. Obviously nothing in the Bleachers. Is it a decent view at any place? I have no qualms with SRO, they are essentially the same view as 200 level seats. 80% of the way down the Right field line, the suites stop, so the view really opens up, much less limited view. All the way in the Left and Right field corners, there are large areas behind sections 202 and 239 where the view is ok. Of course bewtween the bases is closest to the action. Handy tip, section 240 has a really wide aisle that borders the parks fence, People standing there are techinaclly not in SRO, but you have nothing in your war, and you are actually only about 10 rows deep into the 200 level. But again, you may get hassled by ushers (really depends)
  2. Sorry if this is somewhere else. But I have been told by two people now. (One next to Wrigley) That the Cubs are getting the outfield resodded today.

  4. Wait wait wait. We're complaining that the Cards get six against KC. And we're complainign that we MISS the Red Sox. Missing three against the Red Sox is a GOOD thing.
  5. I was thinking of doing the dame thing lol! How much did it end up running you? $399 at Best Buy, I also picked up a 4GB SD for $49 Its actually in the weekly flyer this week.
  6. I read this thread, read some online reviews, then bought the S5 just now. $100 off at Best Buy
  7. I'll be at games 161 and 162. 400 level on Saturday, 100 level on Sunday
  8. So WCIU has a contract to broadcast this game. So lets bombard WGN with emails......rrrriight.
  9. It truely saddens me that someone can be this out of touch.
  10. They are 7-3 in their last ten, you're right. If they continue to play this way it won't matter. Also, Marquis simply lines up the best (assuming pitching your best the rest of the way.
  11. The issue at hand is really... HOW. Those seats are not season tickets, and were supposed to be open to the public, yet he is there nearly every game.
  12. I may take the action on the Cubs tonight.
  13. When I started this thread, I didn't think there would be all of this discussion over semantics. My point is that Lilly has been the best Cub starter all year, has been the starter to break all of the losing streaks, and continues to be the pitcher who gives the Cubs the best chance to win games this year. To me, that defines the "ace" of a staff. I'm not talking about next year, who has the best stuff, his flyball ratio, or whether he would be the "ace" on other teams. Oh come on now Btb....if you said the sky looked blue you'd get a nice little semantic debate about what shade of blue! Anyone who knows anything, knows the sky is: Teal 12% of the time "Sky Blue" ironically only 8% Aqua 9% Midnight Blue 7% Black 32.6% various shades of the red/orange/yellow families 4% others 25.3% of the other categories "blue" constitutes less than 1% my knowledge of the subject is so far superior to those of you who observe with a crayola 8-pack mind. I see the full 256 crayon box. you are now on ignore This post should go up against 63 other posts in a full fledged tournament of sweet posts. We could like vote on it or something. Then the winner could get a t-shirt proclaiming them the greatest on earth. Seriously though, outstanding work. Well that almost adds up to 100%
  14. Truthfully, if he's that mentally fragile he never would have made it back in the first place. Can he throw a strike yet?
  15. I seriously doubt putting the game on WGN would help Comcast's ratings.

While I understand what you mean....keep in mind his ERA is 2.93 and you saw a preformance with a 3.00 ERA. Pretty much spot on.
  17. It is not more than a second or two behind real time. I had my brother look for me while I was in front of it the other day. He relayed what I was doing almost as soon as I was doing it.
  18. Piggy. Curve in the dirt. you trust kendall to block it? I guess with a runner on first it doesn't really matter. With two outs, the batter can advance even with first occupied.
  19. Nope. Under the new rules, it's now suspended. I thought the new rules only prevent the "revert to last completed inning" If the road team takes the lead or ties.
  20. well if there had been a mod on site for the past 30 minutes or so he would have been banned by now You're right, you would have. AH yes....The "I know you are, but what am I?" defense.
