  3. So he should figure to be playing at Wrigley next week?
  4. He shouldn't have been standing at a stoplight.

  6. I also just followed the Americans initially. On a trip to London last February I went to a match at Arsenal where they fell behind 0-2 before scoring 5 unanswered against Tottenham, that atmosphere locked my allegiance on the spot. I went to an FA Cup match at White Hart Lane about 10 days later, and already found myself rooting against the bastards.
  7. Players that didn't get into the game: Adam Dunn Yu Darvish Félix Hernández Jake Peavy Chris Perez Lance Lynn Huston Street Teams with no players in the game: Padres Marlins Mariners
  8. I count 5 Yu Darvish Rangers Félix Hernández Mariners Jake Peavy White Sox Chris Perez Indians Fernando Rodney Rays EDIT or you meant by the end of the game.
  9. Hamels and Papelbon for the Phils
  10. Like it or not, they could be the best fit. They have an incredibly deep farm system and have been hemmorhaging young players out of nowhere for the past few years now. I'd happily swing a deal with them for Garza and Marmol. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them in on Hamels as well. They have already shown that they are not afraid to deal within the division. If the Cardinals overpaid for Garza or Marmol I wouldn't object. Have they? Here are the most recent trades by the Cards to each team in the division:
  11. Furcal won the fan vote...
  12. Wow. This makes Clint to Arsenal a real, real possibility My shirt order gets placed the same day.
  13. I do it here, and at ESPN's of the world too. It's incredibly saddening.
  14. Saturday is when his FA year gets pushed back, so it may simply be an educated guess.
  15. Hit a hard liner to third and assumed it was caught, but it was bobbled. He didn't run initially, and was out by 70 feet instead of 65.
  16. That is some serious rain.
  17. That reminds me, I'll be out of town, and unable to use my tickets that Sunday night. Are non-bleachers getting face for this game?
  18. My season ticket invoice is sitting on the counter, and every time I walk past, it saddens me. Anybody want to pay it for me? Also, I hadn't realized there were a decent number of Bulls STH here.
  19. I scrolled through B-R, and came up with the following. Not considered were streaks that overlapped consecutive seasons. 10 game losing streaks: 1920 1948 1954 1962 1994 11 game losing streaks: 1943 1954 1973 12 game losing streaks: 1970 1981 13 game losing streaks: 1944 1982 1985 14 game losing streaks: 1997
