Wow, the kid gives up one home run so let's give up on him. I am not that angry, people have to adjust to the major leagues, Christ, can we cut him a little slack? He made a young mistake on an 0-2 pitch. If this were Marquis this mistake would be unacceptable and he would deserve the criticism, but this is a young kid learning how to pitch in the bigs, so seriously chill out. We will never get the full potential of our guys if we quit on them after a couple mistakes (anybody remember that Felix Pie kid, what a joke, Edmonds? Really? Wow), let the kid flippin pitch through them. Also, if you want to send him down, who the hell do you say we should let have the spot? None of the alternatives are going to be any better in the immediate future, and down the line Sean will benefit from the experience and be miles better from going through this. If we can have Gallagher pitching like he could by the stretch run, it will be worth it. Think about it, Dempster is probably not going to keep this up and if he starts getting tagged (which could happen because everything usually averages out in the end) we will be able to have a rotation like this: Zambrano Lilly Gallagher Hill Marshall Maybe you guys don't agree, but to me that seems like the 5 best starting pitchers in the organization, and then we could add another stud at the deadline and have: Zambrano Stud Guy Lilly Hill Gallagher/Marshall It's sure better than flippin (below), which would be the solution Lou would likely go with. Zambrano Lilly Dempster Marquis Lieber/Marshall/Hart
