You are coming off as extremely ignorant in this thread. You have no idea what it's like to fight addiction, you honestly have no right to judge. He has had a couple slip ups, and considering his occupation and the lifestyle that goes with it, that's pretty impressive. A good success rate for rehab is about 20% of the people recovering, it's not an easy thing to do. I have had people very close to me deal with it, so I'd say Josh is doing pretty well. Maybe you should get your facts straight before you get on a roll that ends up making you look like an idiot. Hater's gonna hate. You're not special. Everyone has had someone they know battle an addiction. I've seen people I know lose their families, jobs, (not be able to get a new job once they have stuff on their record). So you can save me that part of your speech. It still doesn't change the fact they what I said is true. Hamilton has had access to resources for this, resources above and beyond what 99% of the rest of the population would get in a similar stance. If Josh Hamilton wasn't a phenomenal baseball player would anyone be lining up to employ him? He's had the best treatment programs provided to him by the baseball clubs that employ him. Yeah, I was talking about the top rehab facilities. They have a 20% success rate, the ones that "normal" people would have access to are much lower than that. Also, hmm, I am not going to go into details of my personal life, but yes I am pretty sure that I have much more knowledge and am much closer to this type of situation than you or most people. So you are wrong, good for you for seeing "people you know" going through that, you clearly don't get it or know it the way I do. You are still extremely ignorant and ignoring the facts that it isn't easy to beat regardless of how high end your treatment program is, especially when you were in as deep as he was.
