Probably didn't deserve to be called an idiot (which I didn't do) but I think it's ridiculous to think the game is over down one in the 6th. But I try to maintain some semblence of perspective.

In other words, you have no legitimate response besides backhanded insults and pointless hyperbole. A) Being down 2-1 after 6 innings is not a 100-1 deficit. B) Anyone who feels otherwise, is an idiot. C) You have done nothing but indicate the game is over after a 2-1 lead. Therefore, it is overwhelmingly clear you are in fact an idiot. (fronthanded enough for ya?) We have been terrible in one run games this year. Sure we have. That doesn't mean a game is over when we're down 2-1 or 3-1 in the 6th.

Between Rolen and Zimmerman, it'll be really hard. Ohman up. He's been pretty darn good over at 3rd this year. I'm a Cubs fan so of course I'm biased, but he has been very impressive with some of the stops he's made this year. He impressed the NY announcers with his D, but he's got no chance, since he has the "lazy" and prima donna label. Perpetuated by idiot Cub fans and reporters who bitch about him showing up "on time" to Spring training instead of "early". :roll:

With this bunch, might as well be 100-1. Well they scored one more, and we scored 2 more. Too bad the score is now 101-3. :roll: :roll: Get over yourself. Tying up this one game doesn't negate all of the other games where they've played like being down 1 or 2 is impossible to come back from. Scoreboard. 4-3. Get over yourself. OH MY GOD!!! WE'RE ACTUALLY ERASING OUR STUPID LOSSES!!!! HOW WRONG I WAS!!! Yeah, single game samples are great. It's why we're scoring 10 runs every game. Actually our offensive numbers on the year are NOT that bad. And compareable to alot of teams. Look it up.

Really? Seem's to me that he's doing a good job with Marquis and the other starters. Well, minus Z. rothschild may have "fixed" marquis, but he's about the only success story he's had. wouldn't bother me if he got canned. Who knows if he's worked with Demp too...

It's a tie game. The other team IS trying to score. And they're a good offensive team. It's not like we're giving up runs to some scrubs. I just remembered why I hate these game threads so much.

You don't care about them, to the point of coming off as hating them. We get it. Did you really need to come into this thread to post that riveting, thoughtful, and tremendously helpful reply?
