    What about the weekend games? I only heard games 1 and 2 on the radio here. DAMN that sucks! I'll still only believe it when it comes from MLB.com though. Why does that suck? at least it's not in the morning. Because we'll have to be up past midnight (and later with all the excitement if they win) on weeknights? I don't care. I'll still be heading to Wrigleyville afterward if they win. Ohh. I'm a night owl so.... :D

    Lord help the Cubs if they ever get a competent manager and coaching staff. I think as a whole, Lou is pretty competent. I think he left his brain in Chicago for this Marlins series, but on the whole, I think he's competent. On that particular comment, I think he was talking about the Brewers and how good they would be if only they had the right coaching. Doh, you are totally right, I misread it!

    Why on EARTH did the brewers manager for the day put Spurling in, with the season on the line? Why not Coco or Sheets (who was warming up) or even Linebrink? Why put one of your worst relievers in in that situation. Thank god the Brewers have coaches even stupider than Dusty.

    Absolutely. It's been quite a refreshing year on the whole. Every manager makes some stupid decisions, it just happens over the course of 162 games. But more often than not Lou has been damn good.
