Yeah, but how do you expect to get Hairston and Walker in the same lineup when they play the same position? It pretty much took a slumping Corey to be demoted for it to happen. I can't lay the blame on Dusty for that one. Stone should know that though shouldn't he? Hairston could have played LF (except that Todd "Holly" Bonds plays it).

Well for everyone who threw a coniption fit in the first inning (myself included) Fogg will have more pitches through 3 than Wood.

40 pitches in 3 innings is exceptionally low pitch count. 13 pitches an inning is great.

When is the last time Ronny got an at-bat. We wouldn't want "Holly" sitting for a whole damn week, but Ronny is ok not getting an at-bat for weeks at a time. I feel like Macias has more at-bats than Ronny since being called up, but I could be wrong.

Nomar, if healthy, would be infinitely better than Thome if healthy. Offensively, and Defensively.

The Yankees of the 90's are the exception to the rule. George ran that team into the ground for 2 decades before his never ending spending finally started to pay off. Activist owners ruin franchises. You know I'll take 2 decades of being run into the ground if it gets me a couple world series. Ive had 10 of doing absolutely crap. You act like World Series rings have been raining down on the north side and you're too good for Cuban. I'll run around in a microminiskirt for a year if it gets me a WS title, I'm not picky about how it's done.
