i cant see the game, but i'd like to be mad too, so what did corey do? Really bad jump and piss poor effort on a hit to middle centerfield that my dog would have caught, but it landed right at his shoes and he didn't dive for it. Now I'm sure he'll strikeout in this atbat.

I really hate patterson, dusty, and our relievers. This inning should have been over if patterson wasn't the worst MLB player in history. I hope we flat out cut him after this season.

Can Dusty get off his lazy piece of shi* ass and stand up for his players on horrible calls? Maybe get tossed once in a while, and show some fire? Is that too much to ask? I hate him. Completely.

Wow, Neifi has grounded into 20 DP this year? I knew it was high, but I didn't know it was THAT high. I thought Baker at him at #2 ruining Lee's stats from his hot first 3 months because he was fast?

With that I agree. He is having some problems, but he wasn't healthy the whole year. He shows flashes of his brilliance - so he still has it. Maybe Larry sucks? Maybe playing for this crappy team doesn't bring out the best in him? He's still a very good pitcher.

Depsite the fact he isn't pitching at 2003 level, Mark Prior isn't even in the same galaxy as a bad pitcher. Compare his numbers to Z's and it isn't even close to claiming he's "half the pitcher" I'm just glad we all can maintain perspective in light of the crappy season we're having.

Man y'all need to give me the kool-aid you are drinking if you think we can leapfrog 5 teams and make the WC down 5.5 with 19 games to go. We'd have to go 17-2 to have a chance. But I must admit, I love Cubs fans.
