  1. Krispy Kreme. DD sucks, in my opinion. But if I had it my way, I'd get donuts from the local Casey's General Store.
  2. Good for him. He was a great contributer for us in 03. I was always kinda surprised some team didn't take a chance on him. I'd take him over Mabry at this point.
  3. Stealing my jokes now, eh? Well I uhh...well uh... I didn't see you post that...uhh...*runs* I know I'm tall but am I really that scary? :D Hahaha, I'm 6'5" myself, but I just wanted to avoid controversy :-D
  4. Thank god someone said it. Last year I was going with my friends and I wanted to sit in the RF Bleachers because Burnitz was in right (yes, I am a Burnitz fan), and Dubois was in left. My friends freaked out and were like "what?! right field sucks! left field is the place to be!" Needless to say, I didn't get to sit in Right Field.
  5. We should tear down Wrigley and make them earn a new stadium. Start with a field. Install 400 seats after every win. This idea is awesome.
  6. I miss being happy about baseball.
  7. Stealing my jokes now, eh? Well I uhh...well uh... I didn't see you post that...uhh...*runs*
  8. The Who, easily. Once my Pumpkins (R.I.P. :( ) got eliminated, I was planning on voting for The Who the whole way. If Queen wins this, so help me god.
  9. The Beatles, no question about it. LZ is great, but I can't listen to them non-stop like I can with the Beatles.
  10. We had him once, and landed D-Lee. I'm all for getting him again. Maybe he can land us Jason Bay or something. Seriously, no, I don't want him back.
  11. This, is a travesty, a sham, and a mockery.. It's a Traveshamockery.
  12. I was wondering what Z's contract situation was. I recall the Cubs signed him to a 1-year deal before this year, is his contract up after this year or what?
  13. Is this even a debate? An oft-injured pitcher who has only had one good season or a stud catcher? Give me Mauer.
  14. Yeah, they both look like they can win as many as 19 games in a year. Hahaha. Touche. It just sucks that our two really good RB are injured now.... I still think Adrian Peterson could be a stud in this league, given the opportunity. We definitely need Benson/Jones, but AP could definitely step in and be a solid back. It's a lot better than having them injured a month or 2 from now. The offense hasn't changed, for the first time in a while, so it's not that big of a deal that the 2 RBs are hurt in preseason. I do worry about both long-term though. Benson has had 2 injuries now and has only played a handful of actual games. Jones has never been a picture of durability. Oh yeah, and AP cannot be stud. I think he could be a solid #2, getting 10 or so carries a game, but I wouldn't want him for 20-25 touches. I think Peterson could be very good, given the chance. But maybe I'm just swayed by this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReH8hj2yD7A

  16. It's the opposite with me and my dad. My dad roots for the Cubs 156 games a year, except when they are playing LA. He wants me to see one of my teams win a championship, and I've always rooted for the Dodgers unless playing the Cubs, so I'd go with them.
  17. After much debate, I went with LZ, even though I love The Doors.
  18. I just saw an interview with both of them, no remorse either. Paraphrasing: urlacher: "i dunno what i happened, i hit him and next thing i knew he wasnt going back to the huddle, he was just laying there" brown: "its unfortunate, but it happens, we gotta forget about it." I can fully understand why they don't like him, but he's the starting RB, and he's incredibly talented, and could bring a whole new dimension to this offense. This crap is ridiculous.
  19. I was on Birdsonthebat.com and the speculation over there is that it's Milwaukee, which makes a lot of sense to me.
  20. LSU will take care of that! It wouldn't surprise me to see them winning it all either.
  21. No Mizzou? Blasphemy! ;) I think Auburn is the team to beat this year.
  22. I voted for Pink Floyd, to tie it up.
  23. His relationship is running hot right now... If ARAM leaves if Dusty leaves, I say bye bye ARAM. I completely disagree, but that's because I feel that Hendry is just going to hire someone equally as bad (hello Lou Piniella.)
