  1. Drugs are bad, mmk.
  2. I voted the second one, too many teams ahead of us.
  3. Oh, you can still complain. Just because it worked doesn't mean it was the right move. Now look for Dusty to call for a hit-and-run with Aramis. Hahah fair. I can't complain about the outcome, is what I meant. I'd definitely rather see The Riot up there.
  4. WHAT?!?! IZTURIS?!?!? UIHUIASDPFHGIUOPASDHGIPUASHFG
  5. HR's in the first 3 innings matter just as much as HR's in the last 3. What matters more is the situation they were hit in. Is a solo shot in the 1st to give a 1-0 lead worth relatively less than a Grand Slam in the 9th when you're losing 15-2? Yes, it matters more what situation they were hit in. I am a big supporter of Aramis, and I think that his numbers conclusively show he just doesn't hit meaningless home runs. I just saw an anomoly in the data that makes me think he could do even more-but that doesn't mean that I'm not extremely happy with his production already. Agreed. It always bothered me when people said Aramis was hitting "useless" HRs. Just because the team sucks and they didn't win doesn't mean his HRs were useless. I've been meaning to do this for awhile, but I'm glad someone requested it.
  6. Aramis Ramirez's HRs in 2006 This is for whoever requested his HRs in game situations this year. NOTE: If it says "Cubs lead ___" it means the Cubs had the lead after the inning, not that Aramis necessarily gave them the lead himself. #1 - Game 2 (1-1) - Two-run HR in the top of the first to give the Cubs a 2-0 lead. Cubs lose 8-6 #2 - Game 11 (7-4) - Two-run HR in the top of the sixth to give the Cubs a 7-0 lead. Cubs win 7-3 #3 - Game 17 (10-7) - Two-run HR in the top of the fifth to give the Cubs a 7-0 lead. 7. Hey Fred, your mission if you decide to accept: For each of Aram's home runs this year, is there any way to find out what the game score and inning was and also the Cub's record entering that game? I'm curious as to how many of his HRs came during meaningful times of a game and during a time the Cubs weren't tanking (realizing they were in the race only a few weeks). I'm working on this now. I'll post it when I'm done.
  8. It's gonna be sad if Aramis isn't on this team next year.
  9. I go play bags for two hours and come back to find out that the Cubs are really, really bad.
  10. He's fast dude...and his glove and stuff. You know, tools.
  11. Murton, stop clogging the bases, you're gonna get yourself sent back to AAA.
  12. Well he was probably embarrassed by that display of hitting in the first inning last night.
  13. ..... yeah Shortest inning ever and now the AIM server goes down. Awesome.
