I really hope this doesn't mean they are cutting Brown. Arch, Brown, Manning and Harris could actually make up a pretty solid safety core. Per John Mullin in the Trib. Honestly, the second statement is a lot more telling to me than the first. The first statement sounds like speculation, just like any of us have speculated at this point. The second statement makes it sounds like the Bears really want to keep Brown with AA and have a solid safety corps back there.

Looks like Cotts and Wood right now. Cotts still has 2 option years, I believe, and Wood may be getting primed for a quick DL stint with this triceps strain. Seriously? Wood's triceps strain is that bad? I hadn't heard anything about this...geez.

I'm going to end up 5-3 for both yesterday and today. On the good side, I have seven Elite 8 teams still alive and all four Final Four teams. I'm 9-7 for the second round. I've lost two Elite 8 teams, who I knew were longshots (Maryland and Kentucky), but I've got all Final Fours left.
