  1. Lol where in the hell did this come from :-k hahah
  2. I really hope Hendry is going hard after Bradley today now that the Peavy deal is dead/on hold. I'd love to see Bradley signed by the weekend.
  3. Well, doesn't look like you're going to last long this time around :bye:
  4. Do you really believe all that? I have no idea honestly. Actually, I do. The Roberts rumors last year were dead a few times, as well. And it was a joy seeing Roberts play 2B for us last year. I wouldn't be surprised if Hendry is using his leverage, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it actually was dead. Hopefully we can get Bradley signed soon.
  5. Veal to Pirates
  6. It might've just been speculation, but I thought I heard that they'd be able to keep him til the deadline since they moved Greene, though they still have to trade him at some point this year. Peavy has a full no trade clause. Moving him at the deadline would likely be much more difficult than moving him now. Peavy doesn't have to approve a trade to anyone. Towers would be doing himself a favor and taking what he can get for him now, rather than risking that he can't move him at all at the deadline. I understand that, I was just talking from a financial standpoint.

  8. But they also get 95+ MPH fastballs fired at them and get cup-checked by curveballs. No thanks.
  9. I'd prefer if all these guys took the spring off.
  10. Farnsworth is getting almost $5M a year? What?
  11. there's is no reason to give up any sort of talent for chone figgins. he's terrible.
  12. Well, I told myself I wouldn't listen to any other sources on this topic but Bruce, but all of these reports aren't exactly convincing. I hope Towers doesn't become unreasonable and I hope Hendry doesn't screw it up.

  14. I'm pretty sure SD said if there wasn't progress by the end of meetings they'd move on, but considering Philly, O's and now the Twins are trying to get involved, I'm sure that's considered "progress."
  15. http://stations.espn.go.com/stations/espnradio1000/blog?id=3738908 Yayyyyyyyyyy Please be Bradley. Great news, I really want Bradley and I think his attitude is something that this team needs not to mention a .999 OPS Sarcasm? What team on Earth would need an attitude like Bradley's? He may be an ass by from my understanding his teammates love his attitude towards the game
  16. I have a throwback Indians jersey with no name/number on the back. Maybe I'll turn it into a Wood jersey.
  17. I'm really excited at the idea of getting Peavy, but I think at this point I'm just as excited at the thought of getting Bradley, mostly because I thought it was a guarantee we'd end up getting Ibanez/Abreu (which of course is still possible at this point).
  18. No offense to Hoops, but I'm not a fan of his plan in that comments section.
  19. First awesome joke of the thread. I had a good one 20 or 30 pages ago. That was so long ago I can't even remember it.
  20. I come back to 4 new pages and it's all a bunch of lame jokes.
